Our product engineering group is growing and we’re looking to hire senior full-stack engineers. We’re a team of pragmatic, product-minded engineers motivated by the desire to create lovable products that rescue our customers from frustrating, expensive legacy industry tools.

As part of this role, you will:

• Feel a strong sense of product ownership and actively take responsibility – we often self-organize around small and medium-sized projects, and we’re looking for someone eager to help shape and build Modu’s future.
• Work in an autonomous environment within a close-knit team – with the energy and speed of a startup inside a startup.
• Partner closely with designers and product leaders to deliver products that people love. We aim to go far beyond the status quo of banking and fintech software – many of our customers are startups and SMEs that value clean, intuitive, and magical product experiences.
• Join a team of experienced product engineers within one of our Modu product groups such as Payments, Lending, Expansion, or Risk.

The ideal candidate:

• Has 3–7 years of full-stack development experience, with knowledge of (or motivation to learn) Haskell, React, TypeScript, and Redux.
• Empathizes with users and can channel their perspective to create products that are both useful and delightful.
• Can balance trade-offs and find creative solutions to achieve ambitious goals.
• Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively with peers and cross-functional partners.

Compensation & Benefits at Modu
The total rewards package at Modu includes base salary, equity (stock options), and a wide range of benefits. Our salary and equity ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry and are reviewed regularly based on the most trusted compensation data available.
New hire offers are determined individually – taking into account a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.

Target base salary ranges for this role:

• Kazakhstan employees (any location): $120,000 – $160,000
• Central Asia employees (any location): $100,000 – $150,000
